NYC Hotels Under $150 in Our Snapshot
The source file returned a nightly price of one or two dollars for twenty-one of the most expensive hotels in Manhattan. Those parse failures are excluded here, so this list holds properties that are genuinely inexpensive rather than mispriced.
What this list covers
The filter: properties whose snapshot price sat under $150 a night, ranked on review record. 34 properties qualify. This page shows the 20 with the strongest review record.
Across 20 of the 20 properties on this page, the August 2026 snapshot ran from $54 to $149 a night, with a median of $138. Treat those as reference points rather than rates you can book today.
Review scores on this page have a median of 8.4, and 8 of 20 sit at 8.5 or higher. We rank on a review score weighted by how many reviews it rests on, so a perfect score from a handful of stays does not outrank a strong score from thousands.
By price band the snapshot puts 20 under $150 a night.

FAQ
Common questions
How was this list selected?
The filter is properties whose snapshot price sat under $150 a night, ranked on review record. We state it rather than implying a judgement, because best without a criterion is not a recommendation.
Are the prices on this page current?
No. They are reference points from our August 2026 snapshot. Rates in New York move week to week, so use them to compare properties against each other, not to set a budget.
